As society rapidly collapses, a rich man’s mountain association struggles between the military pressures of its veteran operatives and the rural values of its members’ families. Neal McDonough agreed to star in the project because he liked Angel Studios and was eager to play a non-evil role. After appearing as a benefactor in The Shift (2023), McDonough made a deal with Angel Studios to submit some of his projects to the company for optional release if they were accepted by audiences who passed the Angel Guild. This was the first of his projects to be accepted for funding and publication. Released in 2023 Illuminate – Angel Studios (2023)
