The DC Studios logo is placed on a rainy Gotham alley
Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, is playing a game to take over the criminal underworld of Gotham. Aside from the bat signal in the final photo of the season finale, we never got our Robert Pattinson cameo as “The Penguin.” In this short video, IMDb attempts to answer: Where the hell was Batman? Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of The Penguin in The Batman (2022), but failed. However, for his own series, the character is portrayed as a casual tobacco user who prefers cigars.
He’s impressive

There’s nothing cartoonish about it
There’s nothing about the character that even remotely suggests Farrell. The NY accent, the swaying and limping, the attitude: you’d swear it was a different person. The amazing prosthetics are very realistic and add to the character. The performance is bold and graphic.
It’s a shame
Well written and moving. This is a great counterpart to Christopher Nolan’s Batman. In fact, I’d say it blew the Marvel line out of the water. I hope there could be a season 2, but I know it’s limited.
